This is a foundation for men or women who lose a spouse tragicallly or unexpectedly, that has a child/children under the age of 18 years. This foundation will help with the immediate financial burden that families will face. Whether monetarily or just simply volunteering to help people deal with any paper work that arises in such a time of sadness and trauma. After such a tragic loss the simple act of writing out a bill becomes an overwhelming burden.
This foundation's main goal is to alleviate any unnecessary pain or worries dealing with money issues in which a grieving individual endures in the first months following a tragedy and will allow them to address more important issues. No one should have to face the fact of losing a spouse, as well as, the fear of having their children lose their home, school or friends, as well.

-Made up of non-paid, dedicated volunteers
-100% of all contributions are given to qualified recipients

After 5 1/2 years we have helped 34 families in Monmouth County cope with the financial issues that arise aftrer losing a spouse. I am proud to report that we have given out a grand total of $238,000.00 to "our" families in need. In addition to those 34 recipients, we have helped dozens more emotionally through our support groups and phone calls. When you lose someone it is helpful to know that you are not alone. It is with great sadness that I will be closing the foundation. All monies have been given out, every single dollar raised was given out to the families. However, I am extremely proud of all that we accomplished and I thank each and everyone of you for all your kindness, generosity and support that you have given me.
